STOP on the Net

An online program to help you quit smoking cigarettes. You can join from the comfort of your home and receive free nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) patches and gum/lozenges mailed to your address.

​​What will you receive if you are eligible?
  • Free quit smoking medication for 8 weeks of treatment mailed to you within ~2 weeks of enrollment
  • Option to join an online program to help you quit/reduce vaping, if applicable

for you? 
  • ​​You must be 18 years of age or older
  • You must be an Ontario resident
  • You must be smoking cigarettes and be willing to make a quit attempt within 30 days of enrollment
  • You must complete a survey ​​to determine whether you are eligible for the program​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Please consult your healthcare provider before using NRT if you: are already using NRT medication; have/had heart, thyroid, circulation or stomach problems, stroke​ or high blood pressure; take insulin or any prescription medications; have ever experienced seizures.​​​​​​​


Enrollment in STOP on the Net (SOTN) is limited to one (1) per person, and four (4) per household, within a 12-month period. Individuals who enroll in the SOTN Program will not be eligible to join other offerings of the STOP Programs with participating healthcare providers and clinics for 12 months following SOTN enrollment. ​
