OTRU Online Course
The Ontario Tobacco Research Unit online course “Tobacco and Public Health: From Theory to Practice" provides a convenient and flexible learning experience for individuals who are interested or have already begun incorporating tobacco cessation interventions in their practice. The course consists of 4 modules covering a range of topics including, but not exclusive to the biology and epidemiology of tobacco use, treatment options and smoke-free initiatives in Canada.
The four required modules (Protection, Prevention, Cessation, & Evaluation) will take approximately 10.5 hours to complete. This course is free and you may enroll as a new student via the following link:
